This guide is designed for location owners and Lobbie account administrators. It walks through the key setup and configuration steps needed to prepare your Lobbie EMR account for success.
Click the gear icon in the top right to access all configuration options. The default section is Forms.
Patient Forms
Forms visible here your patient intake forms. To access clinical note forms, click Staff-Only to see templates. These forms can be customized.
Managing Users

Additional Settings
Set permissions for chart finalization, enter NPI numbers, upload profile photos. Set up 2FA and telehealth links (e.g., Doxy or Zoom). Toggle email notifications (e.g., form completion, self-scheduling, cancellations).
Setting Up E-Prescribing
Lobbie uses ScriptSure for electronic prescriptions. To enable, please follow the helpdesk article covering Prescribing with ScriptSure.
Billing Setup
Lobbie uses MX Merchant for payment processing. To enable, follow the helpdesk article covering Setting up Billing with MX Merchant

Appointment Types
Go to Settings → Appointment Types.
Review active/inactive appointment types. Set notification preferences (e.g., email/text reminders). Add default forms and clinical notes to each appointment type. Assign visit type (e.g., initial visit) to populate KPI metrics. Customize color, duration, and automation rules (e.g., daily form reminders).
Tip: Enabling form reminder automation greatly improves show rates—form completion is a stronger predictor than appointment confirmation.
Labs Setup
Lab Items & Reference Ranges
Add/edit lab components (e.g., Testosterone Total). Define reference ranges by sex, age, and equipment.
In-House Lab Setup
Go to Settings → Labs → Vendors → In-House
Add full lab name, director, CLIA number, license, and address. Add equipment and disclaimer text for clinical charts.

Access Labs Integration
Provide your Access Labs account number to support@lobbie.com to enable integration.
Locations
Go to Settings → Locations:
Confirm address, phone, and time zone. Use 24-hour time for default start/end (e.g., 18:00 for 6 PM).
Notifications
Go to Settings → Notifications:
Uncheck legacy COVID-related settings (in-office notifications). Enable: Appointment and form reminders Optional: Rescheduling links and appointment confirmations Room tracking is optional but useful for tracking patient flow.

Practitioner Scheduling
Go to Settings → Practitioner Scheduling:
Create templates for consults, injections, refills, and lab follow-ups. Set recurring hours (e.g., Mon/Wed/Fri 8–5 with lunch break). Set quantity limits per slot (e.g., 10 injections per 15-minute block). Use Daily View to override availability on specific days (e.g., holidays or promotions).
Appointment types automatically pull associated forms and clinical notes. Repeating appointments can be configured. Use color-coding to distinguish types on the calendar.
