This release brings a significant update to how staff sessions and sign-ins are handled, continued progress on Payments V2 and the new Patient Portal, and a large batch of fixes across scheduling, forms, and integrations.
Staff Sign-In & Session Security
We have reworked how staff sessions behave so that Lobbie stays available while you are working and protects patient information when you step away.
- Staff now stay signed in for as long as their session is active, without unexpected interruptions in the middle of a task.
- Staff are signed out automatically after 60 minutes of inactivity, and are warned beforehand with the option to stay signed in.
- When returning to a Lobbie tab, patient information stays hidden until the session is confirmed, so an unattended screen does not expose patient data.
- Lobbie now stops refreshing in the background when a screen is not actively in front of anyone, reducing unnecessary activity on idle workstations.
- Every staff sign-in now produces a session with a consistent lifetime and a hard expiry, making session behavior predictable across your whole team.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected an issue in Schedule Configuration where deselecting checkbox options was not saving.
- Corrected an issue in Superadmin where deselecting notification settings did not take effect.
- Fixed an issue where an appointment would continue to appear on each day in the Scheduler until the page was refreshed.
- Creating an appointment from the patient profile now shows all available appointment types.
- Resolved an issue that allowed duplicate self-scheduled appointments to be created.
- Fixed a "Forms not available" error that could appear after a patient self-scheduled an appointment.
- Appointments can now be checked in without being blocked by an availability conflict.
- Patient forms no longer show false "failed to save" errors on answers that saved successfully.
- Patients now receive an email when staff send them a portal invitation.
- Fixed an issue where Lobbie could reload repeatedly and never finish opening after a deployment.
- Corrected an issue where a self-signup trial was granted for 30 days while the signup wizard advertised 14.
- Requesting a page or resource that does not exist now returns a proper "not found" response instead of a server error.
Payments
Note: Payments V2 is rolling out through a guided migration. Some items below apply as your account is migrated.
- Card readers can now be configured for a specific location.
- Fixed an issue where a payment could sit in Pending for up to 14 days without ever being charged, which also blocked every other payment on the same invoice.
- Invoices carried over by a payments migration can now be collected on immediately rather than waiting fourteen days.
- Corrected an issue in Payments V2 where a successful payment displayed as "Failed" or "Pending" in Lobbie.
- Fixed missing billing service items for accounts migrated to Payments V2.
- Payments V2 merchants onboarded directly (rather than migrated from V1) now correctly receive payment status updates from the processor.
- Failed payment notifications are no longer discarded when the matching payment cannot be immediately located.
- Fixed an issue where a subscription could silently fail and continue billing when two locations shared the same contract number.
- Drawer widths across the application now resize predictably at every screen size.
- Corrected the CRM status display so it fits on a single line at reduced widths.
Controlled Substance Log (CSL)
- Staff can no longer add the same NDC code twice at the same location.
- Staff can no longer edit an NDC variant onto a code already in use at that location.
- Fixed the "Filter by Me" option repeating in the Signee filter as additional names loaded.
CSV Import & Export
- Removed the legacy Generate CSV option in favor of the new export experience.
Integrations
- Fixed an issue where appointments were not pushing from GoHighLevel into Lobbie.
- GoHighLevel calendar events containing emoji now save correctly instead of failing.
- When a location's GoHighLevel connection is rejected, the failure is now surfaced rather than silently leaving patients without text messages.
- DrChrono appointments now import successfully even when their appointment type has no duration set.
Partner API
- Added support for V1 Billing endpoints.
- Partners can now look up a self-scheduling setting by its public booking-link UUID.
- Webhooks are now emitted when a subscription is created or changed.
- Fixed an "Invalid pagination cursor" error returned on requests that contained no cursor at all.
- Closed the remaining gaps in pagination cursor handling for more reliable paging through large result sets.
New Patient Portal & Sign-In
Note: The new Patient Portal is still being developed and is not yet broadly available. Please contact support@lobbie.com if you would like to be considered for early access.
- Patients see a home page summarizing their next appointment and any open conversations.
- Patients can view upcoming and past appointments, with recurring series consolidated into a single card.
- Patients can view and respond to open and past conversations from the Messaging page, and can attach files to a message to their care team.
- Patients receive an email when the practice sends a message they have not yet viewed.
- Patients can start a message about a past appointment directly from that appointment.
- Patients can log out of the portal from a profile menu.
- Staff can set default Appointment Instructions for each appointment type, and can edit those instructions when scheduling an individual appointment.
- Lobbie now records when a patient last signed in to the portal.
Performance & Reliability
- Pages now load only the code they need, improving load times throughout the application.
- Reduced redundant appointment type requests made by the staff scheduler.
- Fixed an issue where background work falling behind would cause jobs to run twice and never catch up, which could result in duplicated notifications.
Security & Privacy
- The patient API no longer logs entire requests and responses.
