Status: Beta
This feature is currently in beta and requires the Lobbie support team to enable the feature for your account. We will have limited access to this beta before we go to general availability, in order to work through any improvements needed for the featureset.
This feature is only available to users with the "Reporting" role as part of their Lobbie user profile.
Introduction to Patient Census
We are introducing a new feature called Patient Census. This feature ties together a few different existing features in the application, alongside some new capabilities. By pivoting data by patient and service category, the census helps you better understand what types of services are being used across your patient base.
New Patient Data Points
You are now able to add specific new data points for your patients.
- Primary Practitioner: Specify who the primary practitioner is for a patient. This is especially useful if you have multiple practitioners on your account.
- Primary Location: Specify the primary location for the patient. This is highly useful if you have multiple locations in your account.
Managing CRM Categories
The Patient Census takes into account your CRM categories (i.e. Billing Service Categories).
- These categories, as well as patient statuses, are modifiable by you within your system.
- To configure these, navigate to your Lobbie settings, select Billing, and edit the categories there.
- Please be sure to toggle the "CRM Tracked" option at the top right, on the Category Details page for any CRM Category that you would like to use for the Patient Census.
KPI Dashboard
The true power of the Patient Census comes together in the KPI dashboard when combining patient information, categories, and billing. Here is an example of the workflow:
- Designate a patient as coming in for a specific type of service (for example, an "optimization" service) and assign a status.
- Bill the patient for services related to that specific service category.
- Go to the KPI dashboard and navigate to the Census.
- Filter the dashboard by your desired category (e.g., optimization).
- You will now see the total purchase history for patients who were billed for services tied to that category.
Exporting Census Data
- If you need to perform further data analysis, you can export this census data as a CSV file.
- This allows you to easily import your patient census information into your favorite data analysis tool.
