This feature is currently only available for Lobbie EMR customers in the United States.
Overview
The MX Merchant integration in Lobbie enables secure payment processing and subscription billing directly within your Lobbie EMR account. By connecting your MX Merchant account to Lobbie, you can automate invoicing for services, and manage one-time and recurring payments. This integration is required to activate billing features in Lobbie and ensures seamless financial operations for your location.
Billing Setup
Go to Settings → Billing. If you see a message or prompt related to MX Merchant, your account is not yet connected.
If prompted, follow instructions to connect your MX Merchant account. A $0.50 verification charge may be processed (refunded after setup).
Services and Subscriptions
To add/edit a service: click the Add Service button or edit existing entries. Customize price, category (important for KPI reporting), frequency, and status (active/inactive). For subscriptions: set frequency (e.g., every 4 weeks), interval, and duration (ongoing or fixed).
Billing Settings
Surcharge Option: Must match MX Merchant settings exactly. Categories and Category Groups are used in reporting and patient status tracking. Tax Rates can be configured for applicable catalog items (e.g., swag).
