Overview
In Lobbie, you can pre-fill fields on Intake Forms before sending them to patients - ideal for forms that are not tied to a scheduled appointment. This allows staff to populate known details ahead of time while still allowing the patient to complete the rest.
When to Use This
- For non-appointment-related forms
- When staff input is needed before the patient receives the form
- To streamline the process and reduce patient entry errors
Step-by-Step: How to Prefill Intake Forms
- Go to the Forms table in Lobbie
- Click Send Forms
- Select the form(s) you want to send to the patient
- Include the form(s) that require prefilled fields
- In the Confirmation step, set the Sending Method to Paper (None)
- This prevents the form from being sent immediately
- Click Confirm to create the form
- Back on the Forms table, click View/Edit next to the form you want to prefill
- Fill in the required fields as needed
- When finished, click the back arrow in the top-left corner to return to the Forms table
- Click the Action button for the same form
- Select Re-Send Forms and confirm the desired sending method in the popup
- The form will now be sent to the patient with your prefilled data included
