This article is for Lobbie Paperless or Pro customers who are not using Lobbie EMR.
Overview
When your Lobbie Paperless account is integrated with DrChrono, you can automatically send form packets to patients when an appointment is scheduled in DrChrono. Once the entire form group is completed, forms are automatically sent back to DrChrono and attached to the appointment record.
This guide covers how to configure and maintain your integration, including mapping providers and appointment types, and assigning the correct forms.
When You Might Need to Update the Integration
While Lobbie typically configures your DrChrono integration during onboarding, there are a few scenarios where you may need to make updates:
- A new provider is added in DrChrono and needs to be enabled in Lobbie
- You want to change which forms are sent out for specific appointment types
These changes can be made through the Integration Wizard under
Settings > Integrations EHR > DrChrono
Step 1: Map Providers and Appointment Types
- Go to Settings > Integrations EHR
- Select DrChrono from the dropdown
- Open sections #4: Practitioners and #5: Appointment Types
- Make sure:
- All relevant providers are enabled (toggle switch is turned on)
- All applicable appointment types are enabled (checkbox is checked)
These mappings allow Lobbie to recognize which appointments in DrChrono should trigger form delivery.
Step 2: Attach Forms to Appointment Types in Lobbie
- Go to Settings > Appointment Types
- Click Edit next to the appointment type you want to configure
- Under Form Templates, select the forms you want to send to patients for this appointment type
- Click Save Appointment Type
These forms will be sent automatically when a patient books that appointment type in DrChrono.
