Overview
This feature that allows you to manage the customer link between Lobbie and MxMerchant, specifically allowing you to connect/reconnect and disconnect the link between a Lobbie patient and an MxMerchant customer record.
Why is this helpful?
- You may have come to Lobbie with existing customer records in MxMerchant and you'd prefer to link a new Lobbie patient record to an existing MxMerchant record.
- You may have subscription information that is out of sync between MxMerchant and Lobbie and want to reimport all subscription details from MxMerchant
- You may have acquired an existing practice that uses MxMerchant and MxMerchant has transferred the customer and subscription details to your new MxMerchant merchant account.

Connection Status
- Navigate to the patient profile page of your choosing
- Go to the Billing section for the patient
- Click on Integrations
- Currently there are only two statuses
- Connected
- Not Connected
Connect a Patient/Customer
Note that connecting patients to mx merchant customers in this manner is completely optional. The standard process of billing a patient in Lobbie will also automatically create a customer record in Mx Merchant and link the two together.
- If a patient/customer is Not Connected you will be presented with the option to Connect to Mx Merchant, as seen below
- A popup will open that either show potential matches we searched in MX Merchant, as seen below
- Or, you may be presented with the popup notifying you that no good match was found
- In both cases, you are able to always create a new patient by clicking on the "Create a new patient in Mx Merchant" button
- If you decide to connect the patient to an existing Mx Merchant customer record, then you will be presented with a second step to map Mx Merchant product names to the appropriate service in Lobbie
- Note that these Lobbie services are taken from whatever you have configured under Lobbie Settings-> Billing -> Catalog
- After mapping the products to services, you can click on Finish Connecting
- You have now manually connected a Lobbie patient to an Mx Merchant customer record
Disconnect a Patient/Customer
- For a patient/customer that is already linked to Mx Merchant, you will be presented with the Mx Merchant record and ID
- You will also have the ability to click the menu button (3 dots) and select the Disconnect Patient option
- The act of disconnecting will remove payment records from the Lobbie side, please read the warning popup carefully.
- Once you are sure that you want to disconnect, press the Confirm Disconnecting Patient button
- This will immediately remove the payment information as described and change the status to Not Connected
Reconnect a Patient/Customer
Reconnecting is simply a matter of disconnecting a linked record and connecting it again. Again, we want to stress that one-time payment info will not be re-established upon reconnection. Only subscription/recurring details and customer payment method information is retrieved upon connection.
